Itinerary

We meet at the airport at 3.35am for our Ryanair flight to Glasgow leaving at 6.10am and arriving at 9.05am. Upon arrival, we will start our drive to Pitlochry, a picturesque town located in the heart of Pertshire. We will explore the charm of this typical Scottish Highland Village and also have time for lunch. Afterwards we will proceed to Inverness, the capital of Scottish Highlands, small yet vibrant city with a rich history. We will check-in at Premier Inn Inverness Centre (River Ness). Afterwards we will join the tour leader to explore the quaint streets of the old town, St Andrew cathedral and the castle grounds.

After breakfast, today our optional excursion starts by visiting Fort William, situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, offering a stunning backdrop of mountains, loch and charming Scottish town life. We will visit the town of Fort William offering view of Loch Linne. One may opt to visit the West Highland Museum (extra). Afterwards, we will head towards the famous Glen Finnan Viaduct, known in Harry Potter films, as the majestic bridge the Hogwarts Express crosses on its journey to the medical school. Later will proceed towards Ben Nevis Viewpoint for a fantastic view of UK highest mountain. Later In the afternoon we will continue our scenic driving heading to Loch Ness. We will relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance or take a short walk. We will also visit Urquhart Castle (extra), which sits at the loch edge, offering panoramic views of the water and surrounding landscape.

Today our optional excursion takes us to the Isle of Skye. During our drive, we will be stopping to admire the Eilean Donan Castle (exterior), one of the most famous and photographed castles in Scotland, located on a small island where three lochs meet offer spectacular views. Out next stop will be at Portree, the largest town on Isle of Skye and the island cultural hub, known for its colourful buildings along the harbour. We will also be driving to the top of the island, where we can admire the Old Mann of Storr and the Kilt Rock, offering dramatic and iconic landscapes of Isle of Skye.

Today we leave Inverness and make our way to Glasgow. Our first stop will be Loch an Eilein, a picturesque loch nested within the Cairngorms National Park. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery, and the historical ruins of the castle located on the small island of this loch. Afterwards will continue the drive arriving at Perth, where will stop in the charming town offering peaceful atmosphere along the River Tay. Late in the afternoon we will arrive in Glasgow where we will check-in at our hotel Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre (St Enoch Square). After check-in, will join the tour leader for a familiarisation walk.

Following breakfast, today we will join the tour leader for a walking tour to explore the vibrant city of Glasgow, famous for its art collections and shopping as well as numerous established restaurants and bars. We will explore the gems of this city, such as the Cathedral, Necropolis, George Square and Gallery of Modern art. One may opt to go on an open top Double Decker Bus (extra). In the afternoon we will have some free time for personal sightseeing and shopping.

After breakfast, our optional excursion today takes us first to the Highlands visiting Loch Lomond to enjoy the scenic beautiful landscapes. We will start by visiting Balloch, a charming village at the southern tip of Loch Lomond, and Balloch Country Park to enjoy the views of the loch and take a leisurely walk through the woodlands. We will proceed to Loch Lomond Shores, where one can opt to take a cruise (extra) on this freshwater lake or have free time for lunch or coffee. Later in the afternoon, we will visit the old town of Stirling, famous for the Battle of Stirling during which William Walace defeated the British. (Note castle is not possible to visit during this month).

Today our optional excursion takes us to Edinburgh, will start by visiting Edinburgh Castle, (extra to visit interior). Afterwards we will proceed to the Royal Mile, the historic heart of Edinburgh connecting Holyrood Palace to Edinburgh Castle, including the St Giles Cathedral, stunning medieval church with beautiful stained-glass windows. Will proceed to Princess Street, the main shopping street, where we will have some free time for shopping or personal sightseeing. Later in the afternoon we will visit Roslyn Chapel (extra), dating to 15th century famous for its intricate stone carvings, stunning architecture and mysterious symbols.

Early breakfast, check out from the hotel, and will make our way to Glasgow airport for our Ryanair flight at 9.30am and arriving in Malta at 2.25pm.
