Itinerary
We meet at the airport at 7.00am for our KM Malta Airlines flight to Vienna departing at 9.25am and arriving at 11.45am. We will be transferred to board our 4-star river cruise – MS VIVA TWO. During this trip, we will experience an unforgettable river cruise on the Danube and discover three fascinating capitals in just four days. This trip combines culture, history and comfort in a unique way and lets you immerse yourself in the diversity of Central Europe.
In the morning we will be arriving in Budapest, Pearl of the Danube. From afar, the Parliament Building on the banks of the river greets you and lets the Hungarian capital shine in its old splendour. The imposing Chain Bridge invites you to explore the districts of Buda and Pest, which are adorned with Art Nouveau buildings, wide avenues and thermal baths steeped in history. One may also enjoy the impressive Fishermen’s Bastion, Castle Hill and Palace, offering breathtaking views of this city. Optional Excursion -Budapest
The journey continues, in the afternoon we will arrive at the charming Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia, located on the border with Austria and Hungary, where medieval flair meets modern joie de vivre. One may stroll through the narrow old town, visit Bratislava Castle and enjoy regional specialties. Optional Excursion - Bratislava
This morning we will arrive back to Vienna, the capital of classical music and former residence of the Habsburgs. The capital City of Austria, one that every traveller should visit once in their lifetime, offering enchanting combination of enchanting architecture, world-famous museums and theatres and beautiful green spaces. One may stroll through the magnificent boulevards, admire St. Stephen's Cathedral and enjoy a slice of Sacher cake in a traditional coffee house. In the evening, a stylish dinner with a view of the evening panorama of the city awaits you on board. Optional Excursion – Vienna City tour or Schonbrunn Palace
After breakfast we will have free time in Vienna before being transferred to Vienna airport for our return flight departing at 8.35pm and arriving in Malta at 10.55pm.
