Itinerary
We meet at noon for our Air Serbia flight departing to Belgrade at 2.30pm and arriving at 4.25pm. On arrival, we check-in at our 4-star Hotel Zlatibor Mona in Zlatibor.
Our first full-day optional excursion will start with an introduction to the Family Fun program in Zlatibor. We will go for a walk to the King's Square (Zlatibor Lake and the fountain), then proceed for a walk to the nearby Dino Park. We will have time for lunch (extra) in the Dino Park, and also children can participate in the activities with an animator. Activities in the Dino Park Zlatibor are included, and this may include Dino tour, children zip line, Childrens’ Dino Village, indoor playroom, chess and table tennis. We shall return to the hotel for dinner.
Our full-day optional excursion will take us to Šargan Eight whereas the location will be turned into a children's Indiana Jones adventure. The historic train takes us through the romantic landscapes of the untouched nature of the Šargan Mountains, after which we continue to the wooden wagon restaurant "9th Kilometer" that exudes the atmosphere of the Wild West. There we will organize a picnic with sausages that we roast on the fire, enjoy music and dancing, and after this break we will continue to the Kamešina River, where we will search for hidden treasures and swim in the river if the weather permits.
Today’s full-day optional excursion will be dedication solely for children. First, we shall visit the Stopića Cave (entrance included), which is an attractive attraction for children in itself, and then we would visit the Old Village of Sirogojno, where the traditional way of life in the Zlatibor village is shown and explained. In the Old Village, a workshop for making pottery souvenirs will be organized, where children could make their own magnets with dried flower motifs or paint them as they wish. Afterwards, we shall visit Gostilje waterfall, where, in the nature park, a competition will be organized in one of the traditional villages, mainly games for children (tug of war, games with a rag ball, etc.).
The day will take us to the Tara National Park for an optional full-day excursion. This day will be dedicated to bears; learning about their lifestyle and habits. Together with an animator, we would visit the interactive exhibition ’Bear’s corner’, where children would learn about the lifestyle of bears on this mountain while playing. Then, we would continue our walk through the forest to the natural phenomenon of Tepih livada, where an interactive lesson will be held about mushroom - where they grow, what they are used for and how to recognize them. Here, children will be provided with drawings and painting materials, and juices and snacks. Children will be able to make drawings; where these will be exhibited at an exhibition that we would organize in the hotel's playroom with a children's cocktail on the last day of their stay. After that, we will head towards Lake Zaovine with the possibility of swimming (depending on weather conditions). In the evening, we will go to the centre of Zlatibor for a show on the water slide.
We will head on a full-day optional excursion to Zlatar Lake. A carnival celebration will be organized for children and adults, with costumes, and masks of their choice. The activity will be held on boats, and each boat will be decorated in the spirit of carnival and equipped with appropriate music. Sandwiches, fruit, sweets, and snacks will be served on the boats. During the break on the land site, a vote for the best costume would be organized. After the carnival, the group could visit the El Paso Wild West amusement park (entrance included), and here we shall enjoy the rest of the day.
Our last full-day optional excursion will take us to visit two amusement parks – Beli Jelen and Zlatibor Avdenture Park. Beli Jelen is located 15km from the centre of Zlatibor; where, in addition to various adventure attractions, children could also get acquianted with various animals. We will later have lunch (extra), and head towards Zlatibor Adventure Park. After dinner, we will organize an exhibition of children’s works created on excursions, as well as souvenirs and photos from the excursions taken by a professional photographer. (In case of heavy rain, the Beli Jelen park will not open for safety reasons. In this case, the group will go to the Etno park ''Terzića avlija'' wgere we can enjoy a visit to an old school, see folk constumes and enjoy the beautiful ambiance of a traditional village household).
This morning, we will check-out and make our way to Belgrade airport for our Air Serbia flight departing at 11.40am and arriving in Malta at 1.45pm.
