Itinerary
We meet at the airport at 3.13am for our Ryanair flight departing at 5.45am, arriving in Manchester at 8.15am. Upon arrival, we board our coach and head to The Trevone Hotel, a Maltese-run hotel on Llandudno’s historic Victorian promenade, offering beautiful views of the bay. After check-in, we will enjoy a stroll along the Llandudno Promenade and Pier, Wales’ longest Victorian Pier, with shops and stalls. Afterwards we will explore the Happy Valley where Alison Wonderland’s story originated. Later, one can also visit nearby shopping centres, or else visit the Llandudno Chocolate Experience (extra), taking visitors on a 5,000-year journey of chocolate history. In the evening, we will visit the Christmas market offering numerous food and artisans stalls.
After breakfast, we begin our optional full-day excursion to Liverpool with a panoramic tour of the city’s historic landmarks. Music fans may also opt to visit the Beatles Story Museum (extra), an immersive experience celebrating the legacy of Liverpool’s most famous band. Others will have more time to spend at the iconic Liverpool Docks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with time to explore the waterfront or nearby shops. We will also visit the vibrant Christmas Markets, browse festive stalls, and enjoy seasonal treats.
After breakfast, today’s optional excursion will start by visiting the charming medieval town of Conwy, with a picturesque harbour overlooked by its majestic castle and enriched by ancient stone walls. Afterwards we will head to. Here we will have time to stroll through the quaint streets or enjoy the waterfront scenery. Bodnant Garden (extra), a stunning 80-acre estate overlooking the Conwy Valley, passing through the scenic villages of Trawsfynydd and Capel Celyn along the way.
Today’s optional excursion takes us to Snowdonia National Park, famed for its stunning landscapes and natural beauty. We begin with a visit to the charming village of Llanberis, known for its scenic setting and slate quarrying heritage. Enjoy a leisurely walk along Lake Padarn, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and mountain views. We then continue to Swallow Falls, one of the region’s most picturesque natural sights, where we will admire the cascading waters and capture some great photos. Our final stop is the lovely Alpine-style village of Betws-y-Coed, nestled among forests and rivers. Enjoy free time to explore, shop, or relax by the riverside.
Today’s excursion begins with a visit to Caernarfon Castle, a magnificent medieval fortress in Wales, known for its impressive walls, polygonal towers and symbolic connection to Roman and Welsch mythology. Those who opt not to visit the castle, will have time to explore the lovely marina. Afterward we will proceed to Tanygrisiau village, located near Blaenau Ffestiniog in the Snowdonia National Park with scenic reservoir walking trails, where one can enjoy a coffee and some food at the lake side café.
After breakfast, today’s optional excursion will take us to the historic Roman city of Chester, a beautiful walled town known for its rich heritage, charming architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Explore its medieval streets lined with traditional sandstone buildings, perfect for a memorable shopping and dining experience. Admire landmarks such as the impressive Chester Cathedral and the elegant Town Hall, then immerse ourselves in the festive spirit at the Christmas Market, where we will find seasonal food stalls, local crafts, and a variety of high street shops.
After check-out from our rooms, we will board the coach and head to Manchester, where we will have a panoramic city tour, and a walking tour with the tour leader. We will have some free time to visit some Christmas markets, do some shopping or continue with personal sightseeing, before we are transferred to the airport for our Ryanair flight departing at 7.05pm and arriving in Malta at 11.35pm.
