Important Travel Update for the UK
As from April 2025, all travellers to the UK are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before traveling. The non-refundable application fee of £16 applies.

Itinerary
We meet at the airport at 8.50am for our Ryanair flight departing at 11.20am and arriving in Edinburgh airport at 14.10pm. We will be transferred to central Edinburgh, check-in at the hotel and afterwards we will join the tour leader to explore the Christmas markets of Edinburgh, George Street & Princess street Christmas Market, where we can warm up with some mulled wine or hot chocolate and also opt to have some fun at the Ice Rink.
After breakfast, we will enjoy a day exploring the capital of Scotland Old town & Royal mile on foot, starting with Edinburgh Castle (extra). We will have the opportunity to admire the St Giles Cathedral, Scottish parliament and palace of Holyrood house. We will have some free time for personal sightseeing. In the evening, we will be visiting the Christmas Castle Light Display (entrance extra), which is a magical trail of lights that will transform the Castle into a magical place.
After breakfast, our optional excursion today takes us first to the Highlands visiting Loch Lomond to enjoy the scenic beautiful landscapes. We will start by visiting Balloch, a charming village at the southern tip of Loch Lomond, and Balloch Country Park to enjoy the views of the loch and take a leisurely walk through the woodlands. We will proceed to Loch Lomond Shores, where one can opt to take a cruise (extra) on this freshwater lake or have free time for lunch or coffee. Later in the afternoon, we will visit the old town of Stirling, famous for the Battle of Stirling during which William Walace defeated the British, and its castle being one of the greatest stone castles to admire its fascinating archaeology. (Note: castle’s interior is not possible to visit during this month).
Our full-day optional excursion will take us to explore the vibrant city of Glasgow, famous for its art collections and shopping, as well as numerous established restaurants and bars. We will have a coach tour to explore the gems of this city, such as the Cathedral, Necropolis, George Square and Gallery of Modern art. Afterwards we will have some free time for personal sightseeing and shopping.
After breakfast we will start the optional excursion by visiting Rosslyn Chapel (extra), dating to 15th century, it is famous for its intricate stone carvings, stunning architecture and mysterious symbols. Afterwards, we will proceed to visit the Kelpies, to admire the 30 metres high horse-like sculptures standing over the Forth & Clyde Canal. Later in the afternoon we will visit the historic Village of Falkland, a quaint town in the Kingdom of Fife. This village is known to be one of the most beautiful in Scotland, mostly known for its Royal Palace.
Check-out from hotel, and some free time for the last sightseeing in Edinburgh, before we get transferred to Edinburgh airport for flight departing at 11.15am, arriving in Malta at 4.05pm.
