SATURDAY

We meet at Malta International Airport at 8.00 am for the flight to Istanbul, departing at 10.35 am and arriving at 2.00 pm. Later have the flight to Cairo, departing at 6.20 pm and arriving at 7.50 pm. Upon arrival we will be greeted and transferred to the hotel, Movenpick Media City 5* (or similar) in Cairo, check-in and overnight.

SUNDAY

Breakfast at our hotel in Cairo. We start our tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum, then the Citadel. Today lunch is included in a local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo.

MONDAY

Breakfast. Early morning, we will transfer to Cairo airport for the flight from Cairo to Luxor. Later we proceed with visits to the East Bank of the Nile including the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Afterward, we are transferred to our cruise – MS Royal Princess (or similar) for embarkation. Lunch and dinner will be on board of the cruise. Overnight in Luxor.

TUESDAY

Breakfast on board of the cruise. Finish with the visits to the West Bank of the Nile including The Valley of Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari. We sail to Esna Lock. Lunch will be during the sail. Later sail to Edfu. Dinner on board the cruise and overnight on board Edfu.

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast on board of the cruise. Visit the Temple of God Horus (Edfu) son of Osiris one of the most complete architectures in Egypt. Sail to Kom-Ombo and lunch on board of the cruise during the sail. Arrival at Kom-Ombo and we visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo, dedicated for Gods and Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan and the dinner will be during the sail. Arrive in Aswan and overnight on board the cruise.

THURSDAY

Breakfast and today we set off and discover Abu Simble – a historic site comprising two massive rock-cut temples in the village of Abu Simbel, Upper Egypt, near the border with Sudan. It is situated on the western bank of Lake Nasser, about 230km southwest of Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board the cruise in Aswan.

FRIDAY

Breakfast on board the cruise and disembarkation. We later proceed with the visits of Aswan including the Temple of Philae and we end the visit with the High Dam. Afterward, we are transferred to the airport for our flight from Aswan to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo, we are transferred to our hotel Concorde El Salam (or similar).

SATURDAY

Breakfast at the hotel and then we start the day by visiting the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, then visit the Sakkara. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx. Today, lunch at a local restaurant is included. Overnight in Cairo.

SUNDAY/MONDAY

After breakfast, we start a full-day excursion – Old Cairo Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Aby Serga and Amr Ibn El As Mosque. Our next visit is to Khan El Khalili. Lunch at a local restaurant (included). Later in the evening, we are transferred to Cairo airport for our flight to Istanbul, departing at 1.10 am (Monday) and arriving at 4.40 am. This flight is followed by our final flight to Malta, departing Istanbul at 8 am and arriving at 9.30 am.
