VISITING

Lake Jablanica, Medjugorje, Tihaljina, Kocusa Waterfalls, Ceveljusa Waterfalls, Mostar, Blagaj.

WEDNESDAY, 1^st MAY

We meet at the airport at 10:00 am for our direct flight to Sarajevo departing at noon. On arrival at 14:00 we start our journey towards Medjugorje, making a halfway short stop at Lake Jablanica. After, we continue our way to Hotel Leone and check-in. In the afternoon we will leave the hotel to Divine Mercy in Surmaci for Mass and get back to the hotel. Dinner followed by a rosary at Bronze Cross.

THURSDAY, 2^nd MAY

After breakfast, we will have a full-day excursion which will take us to Apparition Hill. It is the place where the first apparitions of Our Lady took place, a bare and stony hill overlooking Bijakovici, the area of Medjugorje where the little visionaries lived. There we will hear mass in Maltese. We will get back to our hotel and in the afternoon, we will go for a visit to “CROSS MOUNTAIN” for a short prayer and visit the souvenir shops. In the evening, we will go to St. James Church for Adoration of the Holy Sacrament. Back to the hotel for dinner.

FRIDAY, 3^rd MAY

Today’s full-day excursion will start with a visit and a mass at Tihaljina situated 35 km from Medjugorje. Here we can see the statue of Our Lady of Grace (that of Radio Maria worldwide) in the church of Immaculate Conception. After Mass, we go to the waterfalls of Kocusa and Ceveljusa, where we will appreciate the underrated natural wealth of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the afternoon, we head to the Blue Cross, this is where Our Lady appeared to the visionaries when they were hiding from the communist police in the first days of the apparitions. A blue cross was erected to mark the location of the apparitions, which led to the name of the place, “Blue Cross” followed by a visit to the new Spring of Divine Mercy Shrine Medjugorje. After dinner, we go on foot to the Bronze Cross area for the ‘way of the Cross’.

SATURDAY, 4^th MAY

After breakfast, we will start our day with a mass in Mother`s Village. We then proceed to Mostar visiting Mostar Bridge also known as the “STARI MOST” (old bridge). Then leave Mostar to the small village of Blagaj where one may opt for lunch. This village is famous for its dervish monastery, and it’s nestled beneath a vast juggled cliff and the gentle flow of a beautiful river, with a truly serene backdrop. After, we will proceed to our hotel, and in the evening, after dinner, rosary at Bronze Cross.

SUNDAY,5^th MAY

After breakfast and mass, we will check out from our hotel and proceed to the airport for our flight departing at 16:05 and arriving in Malta at 17:45.
